Gotta get packin'! We check out at 6:30 AM, Lisa is clearing our charges at the front desk, Ellie is sleeping.
We have a long layover in Narita Japan- should be interesting to see Ellie try to speak Chinese there. Customs in Chicago; Ellie is officially American when she goes through Immigration with her Chinese passport and American Visa she got yesterday. Then we get a Certificate of Citizenship, which allows us to get her a US passport. They advised us to NOT leave the US with her Chinese Passport; she may never get back in. We have a brown sealed envelope with papers for immigration. We are to NOT open this envelope, but go through the immigration line for foreign nationals entering the US and give it to them. We were told that last year a couple lost their envelope and it was a big mess. It will be nice to get back to MN, see you soon!
